Rick Tananis has committed himself to excellence in dentistry as a student, a practitioner, and as a teacher. He received his bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College, his dental degree from Temple University, and a fellowship in oral medicine from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Tananis began the practice of dentistry in 1983. He has served as an instructor at Temple Dental School, Christiana Care Health System, Delaware Technical and Community College and as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He is also a member of the ADA, and is a diplomate of the American Academy of Oral Medicine.
After practicing for 30 years in Philadelphia, he took over the practice of Dr. James Robert Carmean. In doing so, he was able to fulfill his lifelong ambition to live near the Atlantic Ocean. He and his wife Linda have no children but are close to their 4 nieces.
Dr. Bartoshesky was born and raised in Wilmington, DE. He followed in the footsteps of his grandfather who practiced dentistry for over 50 years in Wilmington. He graduated from Salisbury University and went on to graduate dental school from Nova Southeastern University. Upon returning to Delaware he attended a 1 year dental residency program in Wilmington and practiced in a private practice for 4 years. He met his wife, Sam, while attending dental school and their shared love of the beach and water sports lured them to the lower shore, where Dr. Bartoshesky spent his childhood summers. His other hobbies include mountain biking and snowboarding.
Dr. Bartoshesky’s goal is to provide his patients with high end dentistry in a stress free environment. He is excited to help our loyal patients with all of their dental needs.
